Carla Arce Zegarra
Intern
Through sustainability-focused internships, Carla is finishing her Master's degree in Corporate Communications at Pforzheim University in Germany. Originally from Cajamarca, Peru, she has an innate passion for mining.

Carla has joined Pacha Associates to support marketing and communications.

Her previous experience includes Revista iNNS & Sustainability Worldwide Centre 2050 in Europe.
Abel Salinas
Analyst
Abel is a PhD student at the University of Southern California. He is using his computer science expertise to research how artificial intelligence can improve our understanding of sociopolitical and security risk in mining investments, and is co-founder of a start up.

Abel has joined Pacha Associates to support due diligence, systems administration, data analysis, and quality control.
​
His previous experience includes working with Adobe and Google.

Allison Coppel
Founder & CEO
Allison has over two decades of international experience working with major mining & energy companies (BHP, Teck, Anglo American, Antamina, Newmont & AES), with expertise in community engagement, ESG / Sustainability, and capital investments at the site, regional and global levels. Complementing Allison's experience is her MBA from Stanford University and Masters in Development Economics from the Université Côte d'Azur.

Allison conducts business in English, Spanish, French and Portuguese.
